Detailed Description

Expert quality XP1000®, manufactured from premium steel forged in Germany. Induction-hardened jaws provide ultimate effortless clean-cutting and long-term performance. Wire stripping notches for stripping wires of 1.5 and 2.5mm. The precision-machined pivot pins allow smooth one-handed operation with minimum play for ease of use. The two-part bi-material ergonomic soft grip handle allows maximum grip and user comfort, and horns prevent slipping onto live conductors. Tested to 10,000V, these pliers are suitable for working on live circuits of 1,000V AC and 1,500V DC. Maximum cutting capacity: 2.0mm.

Overview:

Expert quality XP1000®, slimline blade with an insulated sheath the same diameter as the blade, enabling access to deep-seated screws found in terminals and switchboards. The patented dual-layer insulation ensures damage is highly visible. Individually tested to 10,000V, suitable for working on live circuits of 1,000V AC and 1,500V DC. Ergonomic soft grip bi-material handle allows free spinning in the palm of your hand to quickly tighten screws but also allows the transfer of torque when needed. Designed with flat sides to prevent them from rolling. SCVM steel blades are hardened, tempered and chemically blackened with a precision-machined tip for an exact fit to prevent screw damage.
